Booking Process:

Clients can book photography sessions through the booking page on the official website of [Sophiaseregleiphotography]. To secure a booking, clients are required to pay a deposit, which varies depending on the type of session selected:

Payment Schedule:

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session, as outlined in the "Booking Process" section of this policy.
The remaining balance is due on the day of the session.
Payment can be made via Email Money Transfer

Deposits are non-refundable .
Refunds for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled session date are subject to the full refounds .

All prices are listed in CAD currency.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellation Notice:
Clients are required to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of photography sessions.

Cancellation Fees:

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
In cases where the deposit has been forfeited, clients may be required to pay a new deposit to reschedule the session.
Exceptions:
Exceptions to the cancellation policy may be made in cases of documented emergencies or unforeseen circumstances. Please contact Sophiaseregleiphotography as soon as possible to discuss any such situations.
Communication:
Clients are encouraged to communicate any changes to their scheduled sessions as soon as possible to allow for proper rescheduling and to avoid unnecessary fees.

Image Delivery and Turnaround Time:

Turnaround Time:
Clients can expect to receive their edited digital images within 7 to 14 business days from the date of the photography session.
For printed products, such as albums or canvases, the turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks from the date of order confirmation.
Delivery Method:
Edited digital images will be delivered electronically via email.
Printed products will be shipped to the client's provided address via postal service.
Rush Orders:
Rush orders for expedited image delivery may be available upon request and are subject to additional fees. Please contact Sophiaseregleiphotography for more information.
Communication:
Clients will be notified via email or other specified communication channels once their images are ready for delivery.
Any delays in the turnaround time will be communicated to clients as soon as possible, along with the revised delivery timeline.

Ownership:

Sophiaseregleiphotography retains full ownership and copyright of all photographs taken during the photography session, including the proofs provided to the client.
The client receives only the proofs for viewing purposes and does not acquire any ownership rights to the photographs.
Usage Rights:
Clients are granted limited usage rights to the edited digital images for personal use only, including printing, sharing on social media, and displaying in personal photo albums.
Any commercial use, distribution, or alteration of the photographs without explicit permission from Sophiaseregleiphotography is strictly prohibited.

Model Release Form:
Prior to the photography session, clients are required to sign a model release form granting Sophiaseregleiphotography permission to use the photographs for promotional and marketing purposes.
The model release form also outlines the rights and responsibilities of both parties regarding the use of the photographs.
Exclusivity:
Sophiaseregleiphotography reserves the right to use the photographs for promotional and marketing purposes, including but not limited to, website galleries, social media posts, and promotional materials.
Clients are not granted exclusive usage rights to the photographs and acknowledge that Sophiaseregleiphotography may use the same or similar photographs for other clients or purposes.

Image Editing:

Editing Philosophy:

Sophiaseregleiphotography believes in enhancing the natural beauty of clients while maintaining authenticity and realism in the photographs.
Image editing is conducted with the photographer's artistic vision and perception of the client's beauty in mind.
Approach:
Edited images will reflect the photographer's professional judgment and style, with attention to detail and overall aesthetic appeal.
The goal of image editing is to enhance the quality of the photographs while preserving the authenticity of the subject.
Realism:
Sophiaseregleiphotography does not engage in unrealistic or excessive retouching techniques that alter the client's appearance beyond recognition.
Minor adjustments may be made to correct lighting, color balance, and other technical aspects to improve the overall quality of the photographs.
Client Input:
Clients are encouraged to communicate any specific preferences or concerns regarding image editing before the final editing process begins.
Sophiaseregleiphotography will make reasonable efforts to accommodate client preferences while maintaining the integrity of the photographs and the photographer's artistic vision.

Confidentiality:

Sophiaseregleiphotograpy values the privacy and confidentiality of its clients and their information.
All information provided by clients, including contact details and images, is considered highly confidential and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.
Access to Online Gallery:
Clients will be provided with exclusive access to their online gallery or the final photographs for viewing and download purposes.
Access to the online gallery or final photographs is restricted to the client only and cannot be shared with or accessed by others without permission.
Data Security:
Sophiaseregleiphotography employs industry-standard security measures to protect client information and images from unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
Measures such as encryption, password protection, and secure storage systems are implemented to ensure the security and integrity of client data.
